Vulcan Bomber XL319 at North East Air Museum, Sunderland. After a heavy snowfall overnight during early January, the amount and weight of snow that fell tipped the rear of the aircraft, so that her nose taken to the air. Quick thinking museum staff the following morning made the aircraft safe by building a pile of railway sleepers under the nose wheel, this was a step to prevent the aircraft's nose wheel coming back down hard once the snow was removed. This is the view on 17th January 2010.
