Work is progressing with the building of the new Hartlepool Transport Interchange. The Transport Interchange will bring services provided by Rail, Bus, Coach & Taxi all in one hub. The railway station benefitting from a larger car park and more transport services serving the station helping with connectivity to transport services, making an easy intergrated experience from public transport to rail and vice versa. With snow on the ground, Direct Rail Services' 37218 & 37038 head north through Hartlepool with a freight train. 4th January 2010.
